BGC Cement Delivers to Carosue Dam
BGC Cement – New contract win strengthens BGC Cement’s Goldfields presence
BGC Cement has secured a new contract supplying cement for Saracen Mineral Holdings’ Carosue Dam Mine, located 120km north-east of Kalgoorlie within the South Laverton goldfield in Western Australia.
April saw the first cement load shipment of what will eventually total 30,000 tonnes of Low Heat Cement delivered annually across the three-year contract.
Key Accounts and Sales Manager Rob Turkovic said BGC’s investment in the new Kalgoorlie depot played an instrumental role in securing this contract.
“With BGC Cement’s new Kalgoorlie depot under construction and scheduled to begin operations in Q4 2019, we are growing our presence in WA’s Goldfields  region,” said Rob.
“We look forward to building a long-term relationship with Saracen Mineral Holdings and supporting their operations through our high-quality service delivery and cement products.”

“The addition of the Carosue Dam Mine contract to our growing Kalgoorlie operations comes on the back of our investment in and commitment to the Goldfields region.”
